This Department is responsible for storing, retrieving and preserving the inactive
records created by Livingston County. Records held here date back to the earliest
days of the County and represent a variety of offices and activities. Records
Management provides proper storage, retention and disposition of County records
as defined by New York State Law using the CO-2 Records Retention and Disposition
Schedule. The Department of origin usually handles all requests for records.
